ENDANGERED SPECIES, ENDURING VALUES, a new anthology of San Francisco area writers and artists of color features prose, poetry and artwork from over 70 creatives of color, including current Poet Laureate Kim Shuck, SF Fire Commissioner Francée Covington, beloved Chicano artist/curator Rene Yañez, Clara Hsu and many other amazing established and emerging creatives. Come celebrate at a gala reading with slide shows and video celebrating San Francisco’s diverse and multidiidciplinary creativity.
Over 150 pieces of prose poetry and artwortk from 70 creatives of color with ties to San Francisco—part of the 58% of the population that bring color and diversity to the city, with roots in Asia, Africa, Latina America, Native America and the Middle East.
