Poetry Feature: Clara Hsu. Clara practices the art of multi-dimensional being: mother, musician, purveyor of Clarion Music Performing Arts Center, traveler, translator and poet. A nominee for the Pushcart Prize in poetry (2001), she has published several books, including her translation of the Tao-te Ching. While translating the Tao, the passages prompted responses, memories, and philosophical thoughts which Clara Hsu incorporated in her translation, and which she calls her “infusions”.
Please join us for a reading from the Tao, and her other work, along with an open mic.
The poetry reading is from 2 – 4 pm, with open mic sign-up starting at 1:30.
