The Haight Ashbury Literary Journal was started in 1979 by Indigo Hotchkiss and Cliff McIntire. It has since expanded from a local journal to include national and international writers. Extraordinary Pleasure, a collection of poems by the late Don Brennan and memorial tributes by his family and friends will be launched. It is also Clara's 60th birthday so this will be a double celebration. Extraordinary Pleasure will be available for sale during the evening. All the proceeds will go to the Brennan-Gilmer family.

Clara celebrates her 60th birthday by presenting a featured reading at her favorite Sacred Grounds Cafe. She will read a selection of poems that reflect her poetic journey since 2000. Greg Pond will assist. Open mike before and after the feature.
