Snacking Kids Rap was written in 2021, inspired by the voracious appetite of my theater students. At that time, the children were 5 to 7 years old. Many of them were still working on body coordination, vocabulary and how to be with each other. Now, two years later, these kids are ready to rap. On June 7, 2023, the principal rappers marched into the Outpost Studio, a great neighborhood recording facility and had an experience of a lifetime. It was followed by two days of filming in August. The entire student body of the children theater program participated.
