Never Seek to Tell Thy Love

Never seek to tell thy love
Love that never told can be;
For the gentle wind doth move
Silently, invisibly.
I told my love, I told my love,
I told her all my heart;
Trembling cold, in ghastly fears—
Ah! She doth depart.
Soon after she was gone from me,
A traveller came by;
Silently, invisibly
He took her with a sigh.
永不訴說你的愛
不言的愛方能存
因为那和風起動
悄悄地, 無影地
我告訴她, 我告訴她
我訴出我的心
在發抖的冷和恐懼中
啊! 她因此而別
她離開我不久之後
有一個旅人路過
